![]() ![]() I love iFamily for Leopard! Not only is it simple to use, it’s powerful as well. Excellent that way.īiggest Con: Probably that it’s a “one man band” and I have a concern that this might make the programme eventually become unsupported. Lots of help both in the programme and from the programmer directly. The support is outstanding, though upgrades to Mac OSX can obviously take a while to be accommodated.īiggest Pro: Very straightforward and logical. Better than losing the programme altogether. I would suggest to the programmer that I am sure the users would not object to a paid update. I paid the starting amount about eight years ago, and have never been asked for a further contribution. It’s exceptionally easy to print out a pdf of the family tree from any starting person for relatives to keep for themselves, both ancestors and descendants. I haven’t explored all the facets of this programme but there seem to be some powerful filters which can be used. However, once you get to grips with the software it seems very easy just put the family tree together, one piece fits in like another brick in a wall. I have no experience of using any other genealogy software, so I cannot make a meaningful comparison.
